Swimming Lessons in Prenton, Wirral
Total Fitness Prenton is a state of the art centre which houses both a 25m long 1.2m deep main pool and a 12m x 7m 1.2m deep teaching pool.
We're proud to be teaching over 650 children to swim each week in Prenton (Wirral), giving them the best learn to swim journey possible. There's no overcrowding though, with only 6 children per class, and a learn to swim programme written by Olympic swimmer Becky Adlington, as well as industry professionals extensively experienced in teaching kids to swim!
It's an experience like no other, with the child's progress always first priority.
The venue has excellent facilities and lessons take place in both swimming pools. It offers some of the best facilities for swimming lessons on the Wirral, and there is a large free car park on site.
Total Fitness Prenton is just off Junction 3 of the M53, on the Durley Industrial Estate. We advise that you arrive 10 minutes before your swimming lessons to allow enough time to get changed and arrive on poolside ready for the swimming lesson.

Depending on the ability group of your child, numerous different skills and strokes will be taught on a weekly basis and progress will be updated by the teacher via the portal every 3 weeks. Please note: the venue allows 1 spectator per swimmer.
Please allow at least 10 minutes from arrival time to the start of your child’s lesson to ensure they have enough time to get changed, use the toilet and be ready on poolside waiting with you at the Parent Drop Off point, clearly marked by the banner on poolside. Once your child is collected by their teacher, you can make your way to the viewing area either in the café, or on poolside. Just before the end of the lesson, parents will make their way to the Parent Pick Up Point (also marked by a banner on poolside) where the teacher will hand the children directly back to you. Teachers are asked not to release children whose parents are not on poolside at the Pick Up Point for the safety of all swimmers.
