Swimming Lessons in Whitefield
Total Fitness Whitefield is a large state of the art centre which houses both a 25m long 1.2m deep main pool and a 12m x 7m 1.2m deep teaching pool.
We're proud to be teaching over 800 children to swim each week in Whitefield, giving them the best learn to swim journey possible. There's no overcrowding though, with only 6 children per class, and a learn to swim programme written by Olympic swimmer Becky Adlington, as well as indsutry profressionals extensively experienced in teaching kids to swim!
It's an experience like no other, with the child's progress always first priority.
The changing facilities in the Whitefield venue have recently been refurbished and contain some family changing areas, and there is ample free parking on site on 3 levels, with disabled access via lift.
There is a café from which you can view the lessons and have a coffee or a snack, or you can watch the lessons from the poolside.
The centre is located in Elm Square and is not far from Morrison’s and the Metrolink, and the venue has excellent facilities and lessons take place in both swimming pools.

What to do when you arrive: Please allow at least 10 minutes from arrival time to the start of your child’s lesson to ensure they have enough time to get changed, use the toilet and be ready on poolside waiting with you at the Parent Drop Off point, clearly marked by the banner on poolside. Once your child is collected by their teacher, you can make your way to the viewing area either in the café, or on poolside. Just before the end of the lesson, parents will make their way to the Parent Pick Up Point (also marked by a banner on poolside) where the teacher will hand the children directly back to you. Teachers are asked not to release children whose parents are not on poolside at the Pick Up Point for the safety of all swimmers.
