Swimming Lessons in Wrexham, North Wales
Total Fitness Wrexham is a state of the art centre which houses both a 25m long 1.2m deep main pool and a 12m x 7m 1.2m deep teaching pool.
We're proud to be teaching the children of Wrexham to swim each week, giving them the best learn to swim journey possible. Our Learn to Swim programme is written by Olympic swimmer, Becky Adlington, alongside industry-leading professionals experienced in teaching kids to swim!
It's an experience like no other, with just 6 children in each class and progress always first priority.
The changing facilities have recently been refurbished and now provide family changing areas, plus there is a large car park on site free of charge.
Total Fitness Wrexham is located close to the university, just off the A483/A5156 roundabout.
We advise that you arrive 10 minutes before your swimming lesson to allow enough time to get changed and arrive on poolside ready to start.

Session Details: Depending on the ability group of your child, numerous different skills and strokes will be taught on a weekly basis and progress will be updated by the teacher via the portal every 3 weeks.
Please note: the venue allows one spectator per swimmer.
Clothing/Jewellery: Comfortable swimming costume or shorts no longer than knee length. All children must wear SwimStars ability related hats (provided on your first lesson, or purchased from our store). Please bring goggles if your child finds using them preferable.
Online tracker: Teachers update the progress portal 3 times a term, and you can check up on their progress at any time by logging into your online account.
What to do when you arrive: Please allow at least 10 minutes from arrival time to the start of your child’s lesson to ensure they have enough time to get changed, use the toilet and be ready on poolside waiting with you at the Parent Drop Off point, clearly marked by the banner on poolside. Once your child is collected by their teacher, you can make your way to the viewing area either in the café, or on poolside. Just before the end of the lesson, parents will make their way to the Parent Pick Up Point (also marked by a banner on poolside) where the teacher will hand the children directly back to you. Teachers are asked not to release children whose parents are not on poolside at the Pick Up Point for the safety of all swimmers.
