Total Fitness Prenton (Wirral)
Total Fitness Prenton offers some of the best facilities in Merseyside for children's swimming lessons. The Centre is in Prenton just off juncton 3 of the M53, making it also a really accessible place to learn to swim if you live in the Bebington, Birkenhead, West Kirby, Heswell and surrounding areas.
Becky Adlington's Swim Stars uses two swimming pools at Total Fitness Prenton: the main 25 metre pool for higher ability classes, and the 10 metre teaching pool for foundation and early swimmer lessons. Both of these pools have a constant depth of 1.2 metres.
The club has excellent facilities, including a club cafe, hair and beauty salon and soft play area, plus free WiFi throughout the building.

From the M53
Leave the M53 at junction 3, Come off the roundabout, sign posted Total Fitness Durley estate, then take your first right into Total Fitness car Park.
Each Session
Please arrive for your session about 5 - 10 minuets prior to the start of your session. Go through the turnstiles at reception, if you are not a member, reception staff will let you through. The female changing rooms are straight ahead as you go through the turn styles. The male changing rooms are to the left as you go through the turn styles, opposite studio 1. Once in the changing rooms you can use the lockers provided, you will need a padlock to lock them,You can bring your own padlock or purchase one from reception. Once changed, please follow the signs to the poolside and wait there to be instructed further by the Becky Adlington's Swim Stars Instructors.
Spectating Policy
*Due to COVID we require 1 parent ONLY per child to attend the facilities, if your child is 8 years and below and swim in the small pool you are able to watch on poolside, if you child is 8years+ and swims in the main pool you would need to wait in the gym if you are a member of Total Fitness, if you are not you are required to wait outside in your car.*
Parents can either sit on poolside to view the lesson in the designated seating area or in the clubs cafe. There is a blue tiled seating area around the small pool for parents to watch. There are also benches around the main pool to watch the higher levels.
